Martin Lewis worked at Marshalls West Lane site for 12 years and had many friends and colleagues who want to remember him in a very positive and engaging way. Martin was an inspiring character, his positivity and determination to continue to work will not be forgotten, and when Martin's care was provided by Overgate Hospice, then his colleagues wanted to find a way to recognise the help and support of Overgate on Martin's behalf.

So by engaging employees, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders, we are fundraising by having a sponsored canal walk from Hebden Bridge to Siddal on 19/09/2014. The care provided for Martin by Overgate cost £13,000, so that is our fundraising target.
