2021 sees Marston Court care home staff and residents once again take part in The Royal British Legion 11/11 challenge. This year we are sharing and learning new skills. 

Between us we pledge to learn how to do the the following. 

1 - Crochet poppies 

2 - Say Thank you in 11 different languages 

3 - Embroider poppies

4 - Use a motorised scooter 

5 - Learn the meanings of and  to pronounce 11 new words 

6 - Upcycle a piece of furniture

7 - Make Samosas

8 - Do a seated dance routine 

9 - Play a simple tune on a musical instrument 

10 - Sing a new song

11 - Learn a simple tune on hand bells

This is very much a team effort with staff teaching staff and residents, as well as residents teaching residents and staff. It will be fun as well as inspiring so please do support us and the Royal British Legion, a charity very close to our hearts. Our challenge will culminate in a special remembrance coffee morning in the home on 11th November 2021 for staff and residents.
