We support causes close to Tom's heart to inspire hope where it is needed most

Story

Liam, Tracey and Rob will be running the London Marathon 2021 for The Captain Tom foundation. Having lived in the village of Marston Moretaine alongside Captain Tom during the pandemic, the three of us have seen first hand what an amazing impact he had on the world. Captain Tom has been an inspiration to us all and when we were given the chance to run the London Marathon for his foundation we jumped at the chance.

Carrying on his legacy, Captain Tom and his family want to keep on helping people. This is about raising as much money as we can to inspire hope where it is needed most. We want to combat loneliness, support people facing bereavement and champion education and equality, all while inspiring a new generation of Captain Toms. By supporting The Captain Tom Foundation, you’ll be helping us spread hope and make a real difference to people’s lives.

The London marathon is no easy task at the best of times, but we will have only 6 weeks to train ourselves up and prepare for the run. We will keep this page updated with some of the gruelling training runs that lie ahead. We know it has been a tough time for everybody over the last 18 months, so any donation, no matter how big or small will mean so much to us. Thank you for all the support and we will make sure to do you all proud.
