Hi , my name is Marta and I’m a year 8 student at English Martyrs school and a member of City of Leicester and Leicester Neptune Swimming Clubs where I train several times a week.

 Next year in September I'll be taking part in a challenging swimm across Solent from Gosport to Isle of Wight.

 This will be my first event like that. I belive it will be a challenging crossing due to the tide and swell and a fairly hectic shipping lane. However, my aim is to complete the Solent challenge in under 2 hours, weather and tide permitting.

 I'm raising money for Aspire as I really want to try and help make a difference to the lives of those who suffer such an awful injuries.

 Please help me raise as much money as possible for this great cause.

 Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.
