I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. I run in Battersea every year, not only to fundraise for research and to provide better care for patients, but also to increase awareness.

I am lucky enough that it hasn't affected me personally (yet) but people close to me haven't been that fortunate. It's not only the patients, but also their families, who suffer the effects of cancer, and we need to work together to provide help and fund research and better resources.
