GDA offers practical and emotional support to children and adults living in Gloucestershire, who have been born deaf and are British Sign Lanuage (BSL) users, and those who have become deaf through illness or age.

Story

GroupFit Gloucester, myself and Laurence are doing the 3-Peak Challenge at the end of July. I will be fundraising for the Gloucestershire Deaf Association. People living with deafness is at the heart of everything that GDA does. All the services and support have one aim in mind – to reduce social isolation and enable people to live life to the full. They reach out to all deaf people, including people who use BSL as their first language and people who have hearing loss, perhaps acquired through illness or injury. They recognise and respect the needs of people from a linguistic and cultural minority group and equally offer support to people who may experience emotional loss when their hearing deteriorates or they become deafened.

GroupFit Gloucester are fundraising for Alzheimer's Society. Please the link to their page, below.
