I’m on the scrounge, it’s 5 years since I did a sponsored event so I’m trying to raise £750.00 for Contact, a hostel in Manchester that cares for young women. For every £1 I raise from you I’ll add 50p (for the first £500). The challenge is to swim 2 races in the next 2 weeks. I plan to swim 2 miles in Windermere in the Great North Swim this weekend in under an hour, and 3.8km in Ulswater the following weekend in under 80 minutes.
