Story

I'm taking on the Steps Challenge to support patients and staff at Heartlands and Solihull Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham! I am keen for the money I raise to be shared equally between Heartlands and Solihull Hospital, as both family members and family friends have been cared for at these hospitals and I feel passionate about the great work they do. It is a great aim for me to reach the top of Everest! I will be keeping a record as I conquer each mountain. I am confident I can reach the top of Caerphilly mountain! With the support of my family, friends and staff, I am keen to walk as far as my legs will take me and if I reach Everest I will be very proud of my achievement. University Hospitals Birmingham Charity is the official charity of the Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals, and provides 'added extras' that are over and above that which the NHS funds. From cutting-edge technology and world leading research, to patient comfort items, UHB Charity is only able to make a difference thanks to the incredible support of its fundraisers and donors.

Thank you for your donations.
