I feel very strongly about military charities as my father served with the Royal Air Force when he did his National Service after the Second World War.

I remember when I was a small child that my grandmother, whom I used to visit often, was friends with a veteran named Charles Hancock who was blinded in the First World War.  He was supported by Blind Veterans UK so it felt natural to support such a great military charity.
