Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Following temporary departure from my senses, I agreed a couple of months back to take part in the Glasgow Half Marathon on the 5th September. For a number of personal reasons I want to run for a cancer charity, and on this occasion have chosen Macmillan Cancer Support, despite them forcing me to wear a green and white t-shirt... :)

Details on the great work that Macmillan do can be found at http://www.macmillan.org.uk - please support them in any other way you can, starting with donating whatever you can to force me to get around the course! Charities are finding it harder and harder to raise donations given the financial climate, but the issues that they are trying to tackle don't go away. Every penny and pound helps!

Donations of song suggestions are also welcome towards creating a playlist that will energise me in a Rocky Theme Tune Montage stylee to get me through the run!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
