There are 83,000 homeless young people in the UK. One in four homeless young people (27%) have been diagnosed with mental health problems. One in five homeless young people (21%) have self-harmed.

As I travel across the world to so many different cities, one fact remains constant - there are always people to be found who are sleeping rough and suffering all kinds of discomfort and hardship. Many of these people are young adults who for whatever reason have found themselves in this tough position. CEO Sleepout is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and important funds to help with a real social challenge we face across the whole of our apparently ‘civilised world’, yet seem able to walk past almost every day.
