Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our just giving page .

In January of this year at just 7 years old, My niece Morven was diagnosed with a tumour in her left eyelid. She had an operation which removed the majority of it but subsequently underwent 9 rounds of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of specialist proton beam radiotherapy. She was brave and cheerful throughout, never complaining and a showing strength and courage which made her family proud every day. At the end of August following completion of this gruelling treatment Morven was given the all clear. Morven is now back to playing football 3 times a week and enjoying living life to the full and hopes to go forward inspiring other brave boys and girls who are going through this terrible ordeal.

In October my wife Tracy Macdonald and myself Martin Macdonald,  Morvens Aunty and Uncle are doing sober October. In addition to this we have decided that we will complete 4 hill walks and finishing October with our first Munro Ben Lomond.

Ben A’an at 1,514ft. (5 miles)

Cort-ma law at 1,089ft (10.5 miles)
