Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are eight of the 100 volunteers across Deloitte who will be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro later this year.  Our team of eight are all based in the Middle East and we will meet up with our Deloitte colleagues to seek to conquer the continent's highest peak at 5,895m and the world's tallest freestanding volcano.

The overall aim is to raise £250,000 (1.5 million Dirhams) of which we are looking to raise 100,000 Dirhams in the Middle East for our particular charity partners which are the Children's Hope Foundation in the region and St Mary's Hospice in Malawi.

We all have our different reasons for volunteering for this challenge, but we are united by a determination to suceed, both in the trek itself and raising the monetary target so that in some small way we can make a difference
