Fred Whitton Challenge · 19 September 2021

The Great North Air Ambulance Service keeps families together by saving lives. We provide critical care to the people of the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man.

Story

The Fred Whitton Challenge consists of a 113 mile sportive around the Lake District with 3400 metres of elevation. Starting at Grasmere and taking in climbs of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott, Wrynose and Blea Tarn passes.
This year Selwood the company I have worked for for the past 21 years celebrates its 75th Anniversary and the group through various charity events is looking to raise £75,000 (75 for 75)
The Great North Air Ambulance also helped a close cycling colleague who had to be flown to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on his bike.
So please dig deep and support this fantastic charity.
