I am taking part in the South Coast Ultra Series Challenge which is a 100km walk from Eastbourne to Arundel in support of the Barking & Dagenham & Thurrock Young Carers Projects.  I grew up and went to school in Barking so it gives me great pleasure to help support such a truly deserved charity working with so many young people, whilst taking part in the type of challenge I love. It involves a 7.30am start on Sat 3/9 with 2170m of ascent ahead of me, walking day and night in an effort to reach the finishing line 100km away by Sunday evening 4/9!

It’s tough, it’s challenging but nothing when compared to the challenges that so many young carers face on a daily basis, in everyday life. Your help and support is greatly appreciated in making a positive impact to their lives. Thankyou.
