I am taking part in the London 2 Brighton Ultra Series 100km Challenge May 27-28, and would very much appreciate your support in raising much needed funds in favour of the Barking & Dagenham Young Carers Project. 

Young carers are kids of school age who have little/no choice but to give up their childhood to care for parents/family members who suffer with poor health or mobility challenges, mental health issues or addiction.
The Young Carers Project offers a support network, counselling & an outlet whereby they they can meet with others in a like situation. They also arrange activities for these young people offering respite and an outlet just to be kids for a while.

I grew up in Barking and, coincidentally, a school friend manages the Young Carers Projects in Barking & Dagenham thus I am passionate to support such a truly deserved charity.
