I'm undertaking the National 3 Peaks challenge to raise money for Bradford children's charity One in a Million, which Schofield Sweeney are closely working with. (see www.oneinamillion.org.uk).

I'm passionate about encouraging young people in the community and am taking on thischallenge to help One in a Million carry on their work.  

One in a Million provides weekly sports, arts, education & enterprise programmes to children & young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in Bradford. Helping break through barriers of deprivation and inequality in order to achieve their full potential, many of whom live in the top 1% most deprived area in the UK.

There are over 35,000 children & young people who live below the poverty line in Bradford and the money raised will go towards current and new projects that will help make a lasting difference to their lives. 

 

The charity is having a positive and lasting effect amongst 770 young people per week in the local community. I would like to help them continue their great work by raising funds for the charity.
