Skydive for ELHAP · 11 October 2021

Since 1976 ELHAP has supported tens of thousands of disabled children and young people from across North East London and Essex. ELHAP receives over 6,000 visits from disabled children and young people from 6 London Boroughs and the Essex region. ELHAP is a lifeline for so many disabled children.

Story

Given that I'm aware some would probably like to push me out of a plane I thought that I would utilise this large group of people to help me (and a few nicer colleagues from Brookfield) to raise money for those less fortunate.

I have personally worked on site for ELHAP and donated proceeds from golf days I have organised so the charity selection in not a random one and is also supported by Brookfield and my colleagues.

ELHAP (Every Life Has A Purpose) supports over 600 children, young people and adults with disabilities from across East London. Most have learning disabilities and autism, and many have other complex needs.

Based in over 5 acres of woodland, with a vast adventure playground, ELHAP gives disabled and disadvantaged children the chance to "just be kids." They can fly through the air on the zip wire, get muddy, cook over an open fire, build dens and go on bug hunts, as well as take part in art, yoga, dance, drama and horticulture workshops.

ELHAP also works with adults, helping them develop skills, connect with the local community, and explore their options for the future.
