How many miles can you run in 30 days? Could you take on 50 or 100 miles to help us beat dementia?

Story

The past few months have been tough for everyone but coronavirus has hit people affected by dementia the hardest and continues to disrupt lives. So that's why I'm lacing up my trainers and taking on Run for Dementia. Please donate to support me and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most. This year my family remembers a man who had a profound impact on our lives from being a good neighbour, a 'real' character to my sister and I when growing up, to a cherished family friend to the end. He will be remembered and missed. Peter would laugh if he knew about this challenge and say, "yep...sounds like a thing Martin would do!" - 100 miles in 10 days (or less) during my 14 day self-isolation, as I prepare to go back to work in September for the new term ahead.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
