100 Miles in March Challenge

100 Miles in March · 1 March 2024 to 31 March 2024 ·
My Dad passed away a year or so ago at the age of 80. He had a lung condition called Pulmonary Fibrosis. It meant that he struggled hugely to breath and by the end was on Oxygen almost continuously. Despite having every right to be otherwise, he stayed dignified, cheery, selfless and positive throughout. Pretty humbling.
I wanted to do something in his honour and trying to raise a little money for a charity he benefited from seemed ideal.
So I’m going to attempt to run 100 miles throughout March. That’s about a marathon a week whereas at the moment I’m lucky if I manage half that on average. It’s quite a big step up.
I would be very grateful if you could throw a couple of pounds my way for a good cause.
Many thanks!

1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute.I'm taking on the 100 Miles in March challenge for Asthma + Lung UK. They're the only UK charity that fights for everyone's right to breathe. Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.
