When you’re diagnosed with Parkinson’s you need a fantastic team around you of health and social care professionals. We are determined to make sure no matter where you live, that team will be there.

Story

I've decided to do my biggest challenge yet.

After getting to 40 in 2014 and not wanting to be fat at 40 I lost 2.5 stone in weight ,started the gym and took up running. After not doing much exercise in the last 7 months and putting 2  stone back on in weight I decided to start the gym and running again.

Since August this year I have lost  14 Lbs and are enjoying running more than before. When my sister in law (Lyndsay Gray) asked me to do the Great North run with I her I was well up for the challenge.

We  choose Parkinson's has our  charity as my own Dad has suffered with the disease for some years now so would like to offer them something back in return for the support and help he has recieved.
