Memory Walk Marathon Northern Ireland · 1 September 2012 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to take part in Memory Walk Marathon Northern Ireland to raise much needed funds for Alzheimer's Society.
I find this such a cruel disease, robbing sufferers of their memories, the ability to recognise and to love their families and their dignity.

Most people know a relative or friend who has been touched by Alzheimer's and my family is no different.

I would be grateful for whatever donation you felt able to make, no matter how small, and I know the money raised will go to fund much good work.  Thank you for helping.

I hope to recruit another couple of people to do the Memory Walk marathon with me and will update from time to time.
