Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
June 2019 is a significant month for our family. It will have been 10 years since my father lost his battle with a very aggressive type of cancer. I had been thinking of ways to mark this time in a positive way and taking part in this challenge was the most fitting and appropriate way I could think of.
I have very fond memories of getting my first road bike which mum and dad bought me. Then after joining Ballymena Road Club they agreed to upgrading my wheels to a set of Mavic Tubulars. And boy do I miss those wheels.
It is therefore very appropriate being Irish to take on this challenge as opposed to the bigger one of Lands End to John. O'Groats.
So please if you could be so kind to spare some money I would be grateful as the work done by all of the charities supporting Cancer is vital and it makes the difference to those who are trying to kick its arse.
