Story

In July 2021 Carmen and I took part in the St Luke’s Cheshire 3 Peaks Challenge.  It was an incredible experience and a serious challenge for Carmen.  We were met by Mum at the finish and she was immensely proud of our achievement.  Sadly this time I go alone.  I don’t think Carmen has forgiven me for signing her up last time and Mum is no longer here to meet me at the finish line.  Mum’s battle with lung cancer was very real; it was brutal on both Mum and the family and without services such as St Luke’s these battles would be even more painful.

St Lukes offers a wide range of services to support people living with life limiting illnesses in mid and south Cheshire. Our focus is on caring, so whether you come to us for symptom control, end of life care or complementary therapies, you will be coming to a positive environment, with professionals who support your individual needs.
