We supply emergency medical equipment to help save lives in rural Scotland

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

If you don't know about Sandpiper and BASICS Scotland, please visit their websites below...

Sandpiper Trust – Saving lives in rural Scotland
and
BASICS Scotland (basics-scotland.org.uk)

These organisations are important to anyone in need of emergency care in some of the most remote parts of Scotland.  I would like to support them in a very small way by getting on my push bike to do Ride the North Challenge Bike Ride in the Grampian Highlands of Scotland (ride-the-north.co.uk),

RtN 2021 Update

With Covid restrictions easing we are very hopeful that Ride the North can take place in 2021.  We have, however, decided to move the date from Saturday 24 July to Saturday 28 August 2021.   At the time of writing this looks deliverable with far less restrictions BUT there are ongoing uncertainties and the plan will be revisited in early July to assess whether the easing of restrictions planned looks on track.

I'm aiming for the 100km option (62 miles in old money).

June 1, 2021 marks 52 days to go.  I need motivation to cheer me on my way...

Please help me to do this by making a modest donation - in return, I will peddle my skinny little legs off for a change.

Thank you !!

Martine

The Sandpiper Trust provides emergency medical equipment for trained medical professionals in remote parts of Scotland. Our aim is to save lives across Scotland; lives which might otherwise have been lost because it’s not always possible for emergency treatment to be administered quickly enough.
