Cycling to fight Coronavirus · 7 May 2020

NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We started cycling with our twins boys around 4 years ago, however needed help for James who is on the Autistic Spectrum and has severe learning difficulties.  We found the Edinburgh All-Ability Bike Centre, an inclusive space for children and adults who require extra support needs.  The first time we arrived at the centre, James would not even get on a bike.  Here we are 4 years later, cycling to raise money for the NHS at this difficult time.

The Edinburgh All-Ability Bike Centre have kindly lent us a tandem.
As a family, we have been cycling during Covid-19 lockdown, to get exercise, and as an added bonus to improve James' cycling skills.

Over the last 6 weeks we have travelled some distance and hope to cover the equivalent of Edinburgh - John O'Groats by the summer (total 273 miles).
