Greenpeace Environmental Trust is the charitable arm of Greenpeace in the UK. It works closely with Greenpeace Ltd, the campaigning organisation, to protect our environment by funding education, scientific research and investigative projects in world ecology. All income raised from your sponsorships will go to Greenpeace Environmental Trust to enable us to claim Gift Aid on these donations (where appropriate).

Story

I am taking on the challenge of climbing into the Hintertux glacier cave system at a height of 3.200m and swimming in the -1°C cold glacial lake channel. My goal is to swim the 80 m channel back and forth at least once, without a swim suit. I will be supported by Daniel Ruppert (http://www.danielruppert.de), Wim Hof instructor and breath and cold trainer,  and Christof Wandratsch (http://www.wandratsch.de), Extreme swimmer and multiple world champion and world record holder.

Please join my challenge by donating to Greenpeace to support their work to win a historic Global Ocean Treaty at the UN negotiations in March 2022 to protect at least 30% of the world’s oceans as sanctuaries by 2030 (30x30). Scientists agree that this is urgently needed to support people, save wildlife and fight climate breakdown. THANK YOU!!!
