Yorkshire Three Peaks via the stairs... · 2 May 2020

Martin House Children's Hospice provides vital care to help children and young people with a life-limiting condition, along with their families, to live well and fully, offering the best possible end of life care and support to the family in bereavement.

Story

Martin House is experiencing strange times in many ways, like the rest of the world.

Many of the usual sources of fundraising have stopped. The Care Team want to do something to help.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks climb scheduled for 13th June has had to be cancelled. So some of the Care Team, and some of their friends and family, have decided to climb the equivalent height via their stairs, before 13th June.

Depending on the staircase, that's:

Pen Y Ghent 209 flights

Whernside - 264 flights

Ingleborough - 133 flights

We'll be recording our progress daily and adding updates and photos!

So far the team consists of Angela J, Cait, Shannon, Rachel G, Gail, Mary, Mand, Bev, Jane, Arty Sarah, Marina, Music Cathy, Ali TS, Lisa, Vicki, Rachel B, Lucy H, Sharon H, Angie H, Ali H and Dr Veronica. But we're sure more will join us...

We're also joined by friends Amit, Tuvey, Lucas, Sebastian, Samuel, Richard, Sue and Ellie. And maybe more....?
