Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

I've taken the big plunge for 26.2 miles and entered my first ever marathon after doing 4 half marathons last year. Running friends have been encouraging me to enter a marathon for a while saying "You'll be fine" and "You'll do great Martin".

As my training has stepped up over the last month, doing 18 miles runs! What has kept me motivated and focused during these tough training sessions, is the reason that I'm raising money for Myeloma UK, which is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with the blood cancer Myeloma.

My father-in-law Dudley, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2015. Dudley has battled through chemo and a successful stem cell transplant.

I'd be so grateful if you could please donate as much or as little as you can to support this charity and also to give me motivation during my training and on race day.

Thanks Martin
