Paris Marathon 2009 · 5 April 2009 ·

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

When I first agreed to do the Marathon (a drunken night out) I had not really thought about doing it for a charity, I was just concerned about how I would get my poor old body around Paris!

Then one night whilst I was out running, I decided that It was selfish of me not to take this opportunity to raise money for a good cause, that is when I thought of George.

George is the son of some good friends of mine and his Dad has been my running partner and helped me prepare for the Marathon.  George is a wonderful little boy, who like others benefit from charities such as the National Autistic Society.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Autistic Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanks and best wishes,

Martin
