Slough Foodbank’s Fuelbank project provides pre-paid vouchers for gas and electricity to Slough Foodbank's clients who are unable to afford to cook the food we provide, or heat their homes. Increased fuel costs means many clients are facing the tough decision of whether to eat or heat their homes.

Story

Slough Foodbank have seen a 58% increase in the number of food parcels distributed during the first 6 months of this year when compared to last year and sadly an increase of 72% in the number of children that need help :(

Elsie and I raised an amazing £700 last year to help support local families over the Christmas period.

We would like to beat that this year and have set ourselves the challenge of walking 14.5 miles  come  rain, sleet or snow every Sunday throughout November.

Our plan is to start with a 1 mile walk on the first weekend of November wand and finish on the last Sunday of the month with a 6.6mile walk of Bushy park.

1/11: St James 1 mile.

8/11: Green Park, 1.2 miles.

15/11: Kensington Park, 2.7 miles.

22/11: St Hyde Park, 3 miles.

29/11 Bushy Park, 6.6 miles.

The Goal is £1400.00 and hope you can all do your bit x.
