RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Martyn is dipping in a bin of Ice for 5 minutes every hour for 12 hours on Morecambe Promenade to raise vital funds to save lives at sea.

He will begin this tough challenge at 7am  on the 5th of June 2022 near the lifeboat station on Morecambe promenade. Morecambe's very own Wim Hof !!

It's our belief that even one life lost at sea is too many. Our brave volunteers don't launch into cold, rough seas to save just a few. They're on a mission to save every one.

When our crews are racing from rescue to rescue, they rely even more on their lifesaving kit and world-class training – the things that kind people like you help provide. Donate to our appeal and help our lifesavers get there in time.

Thank you
