Thames Path Challenge 50K · 14 September 2013 to 15 September 2013 ·

Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm walking from Putney to Runnymede on 14 September to raise funds for The Neuroblastoma Society in memory of Alex Sharp.

Alex was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer in May 2010. Very sadly Alex died in January this year, aged 5, after spending over half his life in treatment for the disease.

You can read an awful lot more about Alex, his brave and wonderful family, and the search for more effective treatments for neuroblastoma at alexsharpsblog.wordpress.com .

Thanks again for visiting. Please consider making a donation, no matter how small -- everything will help.
