Lon Las Cymru for Mae Tao Clinic

Lon Las Cymru for Mae Tao Clinic · 17 June 2018
Thank you so much for visiting our page.
This is what we are doing ...
The Lon Las Cymru is a national cycling route (apparently the most challenging one in the UK!) from Cardiff to Holyhead and takes in the Brecon Beacons, Black mountains and Snowdonia .
Team members - cyclists and support team - include 3 generations: Ken, Lois, Mary, Reuben, Zoe and Matt. Age range 8-67 years!
Of course this adventure is going to be great fun, but it is also our opportunity to raise as much money as possible for Mae Tao Clinic.
Mae Tao Clinic provides essential health care for migrant workers and displaced people along the Thai-Burma border. As well as a healthcare facility, MTC is a training hub for students from remote areas of Eastern Myanmar/Burma. They take their skills back to their communities where health care is often extremely limited. MTC is also working with other key ethnic health organisations advocating for equitable and essential primary health services for vulnerable and displaced people throughout Myanmar/Burma. Many thanks for any support you can give. We will try to post updates as we go - I wonder how many puncture repair kits we should bring?!
