I last took part in the Great South Run nine years ago when I was a youthful 61 year old.  Now at the age of 70 I am rather foolishly taking it on again.  It is a 10 mile road race through the streets of Portsmouth.  Please sponsor me for this, not for me but for children whose lives will be enriched by even a small donation.     Pearl of Africa Child Care supports over 2,000 poor, orphaned and disadvantaged children in Uganda by providing them access to education, shelter, food, clean water and healthcare.Each year they raise funds through the annual Pearl of Africa Children's Choir Tour but in 2018 the tour is not happening which means without our help those in Uganda face a challenging year.By donating today you can help ensure that the schools stay open, the homes continue to operate for those who are without shelter and each child continues to receive at least one cup of porridge each day.
