Blackie is overweight and has arthritis.  We are working on his weight loss but thought raising funds to help the rescue while we do it was a good idea.  It also encourages to keep going with the weight loss to reach our ultimate target.  For the purposes of the fundraising we need to get Blackie down to 50kg but Blackie's ultimate goal is 40kg.  So far we have lost 6kg from 68 to 62 and seeing the donations coming through will make the hard work worth it. 

Blackie is a happy chappy and loves all other dogs.  For that reason it seemed appropriate to chose LRRSS to be our charity.  Carolyne does so much good work for Labradors and is so invested in their welfare that we couldn't choose any other charity.  Blackie wants to be a good ambassador for the breed and for the rescue.
