The Great London Swim and the Great North Swim. Both will be a mile long. The London Swim is in Royal Victoria Dock, and the North swim is in Lake Windermere.

I want to do the swims as I am looking to improve my fitness for my own health and having very little will power needed a goal. The Healthy Hearts campaign is a natural choice for me. Many of you will know I had a Heart Operation at Papworth when I was 5, and also very recently I lost my cousin Les Gotsell to a heart attack.

The Equipment the Healthy Hearts campaign is looking to buy will provide Life Saving benefits for patieints.

It will provide assessment after heart attacks and strokes, early Detection of potential life threatening heart disease, and Provide a LOCAL service for 5000 patients a year.
