Multiple Myeloma Ireland (MMI) is the only charity organisation focused on Multiple Myeloma in Ireland. MMI received charity status in July 2013. MMI provides information and support for Multiple Myeloma patients, families and carers at a national and regional level, through its network of support groups across the country. Our board members include patients, carers, health care professionals and board match volunteers. All board members are voluntary. MMI Vision: We recognise everyone’s experience of myeloma is unique – our vision is to be the trusted partner supporting you on your journey. MMI Mission: To inspire hope, promote awareness and contribute to health and well-being by providing support to every patient, carer and healthcare professional dealing with myeloma through education, advocacy and research. Story

As a Haematology nurse and MMI board member I am taking part on behalf of my patients in the second Wild Myeloma Way cycle to raise awareness of Multiple Myeloma and much needed funds towards our objectives including patient support, education and research.
