Mary's Run 45 miles in September

So I’m going to do a running challenge this year to raise some money for charity. I’ve been running twice a week every week for two years now but I don’t run very fast and I don’t run very far, I’ve never measured my distance or pace, I just try to run as far as I can without dying to get myself off my butt, get outdoors and it helps makes me feel good!
Alzheimer’s Society is doing a 30 miles in September challenge but I’d like to ‘up’ that challenge and run MORE miles and raise money for TWO charities. So I’m going to be running 45 miles in September, so for every £30 given by my friends and family to Alzheimer’s Society I’ll personally donate £15 to Mary Steven’s Hospice, which is an amazing hospice that looked after my Dad before he died in 2019. https://www.marystevenshospice.co.uk/
This challenge means running a mile and a half every single day for 30 days. So I’ll be going from my usual run of 2.5 miles twice a week with a rest day in between, to running a mile and a half every single day including weekends for 30 days. Hopefully it is achievable but also will challenging. I’m not used to running every day so I know it will be hard. I’ve had some nice new running shoes off my lovely husband for my birthday so hopefully that will help!
If you’d like to sponsor me there here’s my Alzheimer’s Society fundraising page. I know there seems to be a lot of charity challenges around at the moment so I appreciate any donation no matter how small. Thank you and I’ll keep you all updated with my progress
