Maryam Mdeyrati is from Jabal al-Zawiya. She is 65 yearsold and has been suffering with colorectal cancer for a little while now. Shearrived in our hospital with life threatening bowel obstruction. Alhamdulillah,our surgeons were able to do the lifesaving surgery straight away. Sadly afterthe operation, aunty Maryam went into a coma and spent almost two weeks in ourICU. Alhamdulillah, after receiving a good level of care in the ICU, she hasnow woken up.

Right now, she is in our ward, out of the ICU and she isasking us if we can help to cover the cost of medication she needs as a part ofher cancer treatment. As you know, we are already struggling to keep ourhospital running so I promised her I would ask you guys if you could help tocover the cost.

Right now we are only seeking $1000. Wallahi, I see her like my ownmother.  Alhamdulillah my mother is ableto get a good level of care for free in the UK, but sadly that is not the casefor most mothers here in Idlib.

Do something amazing our aunty Maryam, so has alreadysuffered so much. Let the worry about money for medical treatment be the lastof stresses.
