Butterflies and moths have been under threat for many years now from habitat loss and intensive farming. Wildlife and nature conservation is so important and something I want to support.
I’ve been identifying and recording some of the moths in my garden over the last couple of years - these silent, night visitors are so impressive. There are such a variety and the wing patterns can be both a great camouflage and stunningly beautiful - and all in our back garden!
Butterfly Conservation is the UK charity dedicated to saving butterflies and moths.Butterflies and moths are key indicators of the health of our environment. They connect us to nature and contribute to our wellbeing. We improve landscapes for butterflies and moths, creating a better environment for us all.Find out more at www.butterfly-conservation.org
