I am walking to raise money for Thandi's Endangered Species Association (TESA) because I believe that we need to stand up and protect our planet's wildlife before it is too late. 

TESA's founder, Angie Goody has given many hours of her time doing voluntary work on South African game reserves and her inspiration and passion for conservation were inspired by her involvement with the care and rehabilitation of Thandi, a rhino who was left for dead by poachers, with horrific, life threatening facial wounds.

TESA is a 100% not for profit organisation that aims to educate all generations about the importance of protecting and helping endangered animals worldwide. 

The money they raise is used to buy vital equipment like tacking collars, DNA kits and microchips. It helps to fund veterinary treatments to help save the survivors of poaching and buys milk powder for orphaned rhino calves, plus lots more. TESA is a 'hands on' organisation that believes in buying and donating physical equipment rather than just handing over cash. Angie visits the recipients when she is in South Africa to see how TESA's contributions have helped.
