Instead of flowers, we are raising money for the 2021 COVID-19 Appeal at the Whittington Hospital to help the staff.

The pressure, hardships, and risk levels faced by NHS staff are as great now, if not greater than during the first wave of the pandemic. They face this challenge burdened by the effects of an exceptionally demanding nine months. They have supported patients in their final moments, they have held iPads and said goodbye on behalf of families, they have lost friends and family. They are physically, emotionally, and mentally drained facing it with inspiring levels of resilience, bravery, professionalism, and by always putting patient care at the forefront.
