Gnana Deepam is a wonderful school in Tamil Nadu.  It was set up thirty years ago by Roy and Catherine Devaraj.  Their children continue their work.  They provide quality education for 700 children: they run a hostel for disadvantaged children where the children are raised in a loving Christian environment: Simon is also an ordained minister and runs a local church.      I have visited the place several times and can verify all the above.

YAY - it is now after the event and all is good.  I walked the full walk in great heat, but that is now a distant memory.   It was fine.  AND donations are way over the original target of £1000.  At present, just £85 more is needed to bring the total up to a whopping £3000.  Any takers?    I am thrilled.  Thank you one and all.
