Next summer I will be travelling to Peru to hike up to Machu Picchu to raise money for MND Scotland. I hope to see a cure for people like my friend Lucy Lintott, whose fight with the disease has inspired me beyond measure. I've always wanted to climb up to the world wonder but never thought it would happen. Seeing the MND Scotland team take on the challenge interested me, and taking inspiration from Lucy's courage and need to constantly push herself has now seen me sign up to the hike.
