Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In my effort to get fit before the big "50", I have entered the Wolf Run on Saturday 13th April 2019.
For those that don't know, the Wolf Run is wild running through mud,
trail and obstacle runs. I’m running as part of a team of four friends and we will tackle a series of tough obstacles by running, climbing, jumping, wading, crawling and swimming for 10 kilometres!
However, whilst doing this I want to raise money for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. My father John has Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) which is a progressive, scarring lung disease that is incurable. He was diagnosed several years ago and whilst at times the disease can be debilitating, he has managed to survive beyond the average life expectancy of 3-4 years for an individual with IPF.
Please help me raise money and awareness as the work Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis is doing for individuals and families affected by IPF is superb and I would like to help in any way I can.
Find out about what the charity does more specifically at http://www.actionpulmonaryfibrosis.org
Thank you.
