Leo and Masons walk up Snowdon for Wrexham Maelor Childrens Ward

Leo and Masons walk up Snowdon · 4 June 2016
Hello and thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.
We are Leo and Mason. We would like to raise money for the Wrexham Maelor Children's Ward because they looked after our little brother Blake when he was poorly.
It was really scary going to visit him in hospital. There were lot's of poorly children there. We had to wait in the playroom sometimes and we saw that some of the toys were quite old or not working properly.
Blake really liked watching Peppa Pig on the DVD player when he couldn't leave his cot.
We would like to help the children who have to stay in hospital by getting them some new toys, DVD players and games.
We are happy that Blake is better but some children are poorly for a long time. We want to help them by giving them more fun things to play with.
We want to walk up Snowdon because it is the biggest mountain in Wales. We haven't climbed mountains before so we have started climbing smaller mountains now to get ready.
Thank you for donating it will be a big help.
Mason and Leo.
A word from Mum and Dad....
Our two older boys decided to do this after our youngest son Blake was admitted to the children's ward. The staff in the hospital, at all levels, work tirelessly in difficult circumstances and we couldn't be more grateful for their help.
It was difficult explaining to the boys what life can be like for some families when children are ill. We are incredibly proud of them both for making the choice to try to improve this experience.
