Story
For the past four years, friends, family and colleagues of Barry Winter have got together to play football in his memory.
Barry died in 2008 following a battle with a rare form of cancer, cholangiocarcinoma. Because of his love of football, an annual match in his memory felt like a fitting tribute.
Thanks to the generosity of many people we have raised over £15,000 so far for research into cholangiocarcinoma. This year we'll be hoping to build on that total with a rematch against the Radio Forth All Stars.
All funds raised will again go towards research at the Imperial College Healthcare Charity. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
If you want to come along and watch the match, it takes place at 3pm at the Spartans ground (http://www.spartansfc.com/ainslie-park-2/) on Sunday May 12.
Thanks for your continued support.
