Warrington Walk to Warwick 2019 · 19 September 2019

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide exists to meet the needs and break the isolation of those impacted by a suicide loss. We provide a safe and confidential environment in which bereaved people can share their experiences and feelings, so that no one bereaved by suicide has to face their loss alone.

Story

Over the past few years, I have been touched several times by the effect that this type of bereavement has on all who knew the person that they have lost.

I was made aware of the incredible work that the Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide do and the many ways in which they can offer support, comfort and advice at a time when people may not know which way to turn.

On behalf of the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM) and I, I will be trekking 111 miles over 5 days from the 19th to 23rd of September, from my home just outside of Warrington, to the ICCM Learning Convention and Exhibition in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

If you can spare a couple of pence or pounds, then please feel free to donate what you can so that we may raise awareness of SOBS's work and provide much needed resources for them over the coming months.

Thank you,

Mat
