Story

Hello! Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. I'm running the London Marathon to raise funds for hearing dogs for deaf people. Here's why:

Hearing dogs help people with hearing loss gain independence by alerting them to important sounds like fire alarms, door bells and alarm clocks. They also provide incredible companionship that helps combat the isolating and stressful effects of hearing loss.

As an audiologist, I am passionate about helping people with hearing loss. Through meeting patients with hearing dogs, I have seen first-hand the transformative effects a hearing dog can have on a patient's quality of life.

Any donation you can give is greatly appreciated by myself and the charity. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks!
